I think my thumb might finally be turning light green

This post is inspired by kc dyer’s lovely triangle garden. Sadly, I have no huckleberry bush. But my own little fence-side patch of sun (the one patch of sun in a very shady yard) is actually growing this year. Have a look:

That’s a strawberry planter at the back, with peas, beets, and beans in front of it.

Behind this mini-planter of lettuce, sorrel, and more peas is a columnar apple tree. It’s supposed to grow 10 feet tall and only 2 feet wide. This is its first year here, so we shall see.

And a few herbs. Although, what exactly does one do with curry plant? I’m a pretty good curry cook, and I have yet to find out.

Now, where do I get a huckleberry bush?
