It must be time to celebrate a little accomplishment, even if it isn’t writing-related. So far this season:
- Strawberry-rhubarb jam made
- Blueberry jam made
- Raspberry jam made
- A big batch of rhubarb frozen (thanks, Mom)
- A big flat of organic blueberries frozen
- Miscellaneous bags of raspberries frozen
- One big blueberry cobbler made and frozen, for a stormy November night
On the topic of all things edible, Deborah Hodge is signing her new book Up We Grow! this weekend at the Trout Lake Farmer’s Market.

One rhubarb pie made and eaten. Mostly by me.
