I’m squeezing every last drop of downtime out of this last week of summer vacation, but I’ll be back with regular posts next week. In the meantime, if you’re one of those three people who appreciate my sense of humour, you can check out my guest post over at Canadian Bookshelf. It’s about my tenuous understanding of pop culture.
To reward (punish?) my regular readers, here’s a little bonus content. A picture of my hair, circa 1991. Enjoy.
Yes…yes much. So glad you’re back. And thanks for the reward.
Ha! And to think you TAUGHT me how to do my hair back then! You look pretty in that photo – mine…not so much!
Great story Tanya. And yes, I’ve missed that hair. I can totally remember when you looked like that but it’s nothing the size of what Brooke’s was!!
actually, Brooke’s is STILL bigger than that!
You know, I realize that that amount of backcombing is ridiculous, but that was the only stage of my life that I really loved my hair style. Sigh.
That is GOOD hair! (Yes, see how we missed you!)
I think it was the only time in my life that I actually spent time on my hair or even myself. Now it’s ponytail and on with the day. Oh to be more self absorbed. Well at least to care about what my hair looks like. We did however destroy the ozone with the hairspray but it was worth it. Miss yah! Congrats on the new book.
Thanks so much for your piece! Love the bonus content too.
Thanks for stopping by! As for the bonus content… well, you can never have too many embarrassing pictures of yourself.
