My daughter’s at home this week with a fever.
You’d think this could translate into calm and peaceful writing moments for me, but I’m having trouble maintaining focus through the Barbie movie soundtracks. I think it’s easier to cave and drink honey tea and watch Diamond Castle. (You should click that link, just for the theme music.)
We did a puzzle this morning, in between movies. A puzzle featuring Disney princesses.

My son was home sick and our DVD player was on the fritz and we had to resort to playing selections from our limited librarry of VCR tapes. A poor substitute. Just think of the poor pioneers – how did they cope with sick kids?
