“It is not often that someone comes along who is a true friend and a good writer.”
– Charlotte’s Web, by E.B. White
This is a picture of moi at the Spring Book Hatching last weekend, sharing a table with the lovely and accomplished Sue Ann Alderson, most recently the author of The Eco-Diary of Kiran Singer. She was full of all sorts of interesting stories about B.C. writers, librarians, and publishers. Even if no one had attended the hatching (and a lot of people did), I would have been entirely happy chatting to her for the whole afternoon.
I’ve stolen the picture from the CWILL website, but I think it may be the work of author and illustrator Cynthia Nugent. If so, thank you, Cynthia!
