I just spent the morning with two grade five classes at Crofton House. We talked about the kids in Canadian Girls Who Rocked the World and Canadian Boys Who Rocked the World, and how we can draw things from their stories to help inspire us to pursue our own dreams and our own talents.
I have no doubt that some of this morning’s energetic, engaged, and dramatically inclined students will be rocking the world in their own ways soon.
Today’s presentation was arranged partly to thank grade five teacher extraordinaire, Mark Fischer, for helping me create the new teacher’s guide for Canadian Girls. It’s posted here in the sidebar, and also over at the Walrus Books blog.
Thanks, Crofton House!
