I once had a long argument with Min about the existence of cabbits. I was sure they were real. Cute little bunny-cat crosses, made by scientists in Japan. Or thus I imagined them.

This argument happened before the age of iPhones, so we were able to continue it through dinner and it wasn’t until later that night that Min dialled up his internet connection and proved that cabbits were fictional.

It was a crushing defeat.

Especially for the cabbits, who were logic-ed right out of existence!

Well, we have long memories in the Kyi household. This morning, Min sent me this link, with the note, “almost a cabbit.”

It’s not. The olinguito is not at all what I pictured. But it’s pretty darned cute anyway.
