Inspired by this blog post, I’ve just requested the library’s copy of Pippi Longstocking. I can’t wait! I love Pippi, and I haven’t thought about her since last time I was in Yaletown, dressed in baby blue with my hair sticking straight out, surrounded by club-goers in black minis. But don’t worry. I just braided up my hair and said, “I’m so GLAD I’m experiencing this social phenomenon.”
